The State Gallery is housed in three separate buildings and contains works of art from the Middle Ages to the nineteenth century. The modern section actually has some priceless examples from Picasso, Chagall, Cezane, Renoir and other well known twentieth century artists as well as a collection of printed graphics and rare drawings.
