American Airlines, a founding member of the Oneworld Alliance and subsidiary of the AMR Corporation, is the world’s largest airline (in terms of size of fleet and miles/ passengers transported), based at Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas. The airline offers scheduled passenger services (excluding codeshares with partner airlines) to over 150 destinations throughout the United States, as well as Canada, Latin America, the Caribbean, Western Europe, Japan, China and India. Its regional airline affiliate American Eagles, serves 132 cities across the USA, Canada, the Bahamas, Mexico and the Caribbean. Some of the major destinations served by American Airlines include Delhi, Shanghai, Tokyo, Manchester, Nassau, Vancouver, Lima, Santiago, Miami, Madrid and Rome. The airline maintains a major hub at Chicago O'Hare with other hubs at Chicago, Miami, San Juan and St Louis.
